Looks like a solid film, thanks for the tip!

MOTHER LODE

I must have seen Mother Lode a dozen times or more in its entirety---back when I was a projectionist in Santa Fe. I remember first watching it with a couple of other guys, after hours at the theatre, after I had first put the reels together (those were the days). That's when we could have our own private screenings prior to a film opening there on Friday night. :punch:

Sounds like a sweet job, BurlyHughes. When I was a kid I always dreamed of working asa projectionist at a movie theatre.

Barnes and Noble is having a 50% off all Criterion Collection Films, I purchased "Days of Heaven and "The Thin Red Line"and I am waiting for "Badlands" which is not on Criterion. I am on a Malick kick. Going to see "Tree Of Life" this weekend..

Been awhile since I have been here, hi everyone!

Glad you're back! Malick has certainly made some thought provoking films over the years, some of them can rightly be considered masterpieces in their genres. I myself always liked Badlands, while Days of Heaven seemed to leave me a little cold. I did enjoy it though.

Got some Van Damme movies in the mail today, which I'm quite pleased about.

Kickboxer
Death Warrant
The Quest
Universal Soldier: The Return

Looking forward to the coming days of martial arts action!

One of the best action movies ever made IMO. Just had to get the Canadian Steelbook.

Haven't seen this one yet. Looking forward to very much though, especially since Evangeline Lilly is in it.

I bought Ong Bak 2 yesterday. It's a Thailandese martial arts fllick that absolutely everyone I know who's seen it is raving about. I'm really looking forward to watching it this weekend.
