Like the topic says, what Charlton Heston DVD or Blu-ray was the last one you got for your collection?

I got Will Penny on R1 DVD last week. I chose the US DVD instead of the R2 DVD from the UK because that release didn't have the special features that the US version has. It's just a matter of two featurettes, but that's still enough for me. When it comes to Heston DVD's, I simply must have the best edition available.

Is anyone else that way?

My latest Heston DVD was "Sherlock Holmes: The Crucifer of Blood".

Out of curiosity, what made you get a second copy? Did you watch the first one so much that it wouldn't play? I know that happened a lot when I was a kid watching my VHS tapes.

I was hoping that the newer version would have the "lady in the crypt" scene. But Alas, no such luck. :(

That's too bad. Hate it when that happens. They change the cover of the DVD which makes you think it's a new edition or something.

I just picked up another three this week.
1) Solar Crisis (1990)
2) Bad for each other (1953). This is one of 4 movies included on the DVD
"Bad girls film noir volume 1" which i purchased off Amazon.
3) Beneath the planet of the apes (1970). This came in a planet of the apes
box set i just bought. I already had the first planet of the apes DVD.

I've been meaning to get Bad for Each Other through that box set. Could you tell me how the box set is made? Is it a digipack with 4 discs in it, or does it hold 4 separate DVD-cases with each film in them?
