Christian Bale looks ready for battle as filming on Ridley Scott's biblical epic Exodus gets underway in Spain

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/ar ... xodus.html

Quote:
It’s an epic undertaking but if pictures from the set of Ridley Scott’s biblical movie Exodus are anything to go by, Christian Bale is up to the task of playing Moses.
The 39-year-old actor portrays the lead character in the new movie, which follows the classic tale of the Israelites' departure from Egypt under the guidance of Moses.

.....

Exodus is one of two Moses films in development, alongside Gods and Kings, which Steven Spielberg previously dropped out of directing.
The epic sees Ridley Scott and Bale take on the legacy of Charlton Heston's 1956 epic The Ten Commandments.
Bale isn’t the only star signed up for the film, although no other big names were spotted on set on Tuesday.
Breaking Bad actor Aaron Paul will play the role of the Hebrew slave Joshua, who goes on to lead the people onto the promised land after Moses.
Joel Edgerton, last seen on the big screen in The Great Gatsby, will play Ramses, the pharaoh who is believed to have ruled over Egypt during Moses’ time.
....

Brush up on your Bible facts, boys and girls. The coming year is going to be filled with epic fare plucked from the pages of the Old Testament, starting with Darren Aronofsky’s Noah and concluding with Sir Ridley Scott’s Exodus. The Christian Bale-led feature teased its first-look photo with the Web, and we’re please to share it above.

From the trailer it is not clear what kind of approach they are taking towards the original Biblical story...all I can say at this point is, Christian Bale does not 'look' like our concept of Moses.
