Wow. Germany completely trashed Brazil at their own home with 7-1. One of the best games I've ever seen. I've always loved Germany, they almost always deliver. Klose scored a goal and is now the highest scorer in World Cup history! Whoever they meet in the final (I have a hunch it will be Holland), I will be rooting for Germany.

Before the game I had a bet on Brazil to win 1-0.

I guess you could say I lost my bet!

 Yeah. Argentina will meet Germany in the final. The way Argentina have been playing during this World Cup, I sincerely hope and believe Germany will win on Sunday.

I'm going to have a bet on Germany beating Argentina 2-1, Thorn.

Hope it's a better game than last night's snore-bore!

Who is your bet for the third position? I wish Brazil at least get that position, there will be some consolation for them, then.

Brazil are shell-shocked at the moment. Its impossible to predict who will win third place. They could actually lose 10-0 if they play like they did against Germany.

I bet some money on Holland and am therefore extra glad they beat Brazil by 3-0. An absolutely abysmal tournament for the hosts, who only played two good games (vs a shattered Cameroon and Colombia).

Aaaaand Germany brought it home, deservedly so. 1-0 when it was seven minutes left of Extra Time. I'm so happy for them. Messi won the MVP award of the tournament, which I feel is a bit of a joke as he hasn't been THAT good.

An excellent World Cup tournament, one of the best I've seen so far.

Congratulations to the Germans, they have played really good throughout the tournament. Argentina played well for the first half, however. They created some opportunities before the box, but those opportunities were not executed.
