I've heard this is bad, really bad. But then again, how could a movie starring Charlton Heston and Jack Palance possibly be bad? Bad as in bad-***, yeah, but bad as in bad? I'm sure if I see it I'll get some enjoyment off it.

I just got this from Netflix and, sorry to say, it is pretty bad, like Highlander 2: The Quickening bad, though Chuck is fine for the few minutes that he's actually in it. The real mystery though is how both he and his old "Arrowhead" nemesis Jack Palance wound up in it in the first place. Seeing as how the director's name is removed and replaced with the infamous "Alan Smithee" moniker I'm guessing there were some serious behind the scenes problems resulting in a disjointed film.

This is most probably Heston's worst movie. It is unwatchable.

Is it? I haven't watched it. As far as I recall, Heston himself called 'The Call of the Wild' his worst movie.
