I just watched Three violent People again a couple of days ago.

The following are some of my personal favorite quotes

Colt: Yes, indeed, Sir. You speak very clearly. Your voice carries quite a ways.

Bar Attendant: You sure have mellowed down a lot

Colt: You can't talk like that to a Southern lady.

Colt: I don't see how anyone can look so right and think so wrong.
Lorna: I don't understand.
Colt: About me, I don't waste time bawling in the street. I've got no time to waste. I just spent the last four years losing a war. I've got a ranch to build up and a family to raise, I'm looking for a woman who.... A wife....
Colt: You've looking for a husband. Wait now. Miss Hunter, do you want to get married?
Lorna: Of all the cold-blooded unromantic ...
Colt: Not the least bit like double entry bookkeeping, is it?

Lorna: The mountains are very beautiful.
Colt: There are steep valleys in there that take you breath away. Place where it seems like if you knew the right word, you could talk to God...

Lorna: Colt, listen to me. When you're raising the boy, will you try to remember something? Try to remember that people aren't perfect. They just aren't. They make mistakes, And when they do, they suffer. They pay. Inside themselves, they pay.
So, when he makes his mistakes, and he will.... try to find it in you to forgive him.
