Yesterday The war lord again, while Husband is in H I can see everything I want....I noticed the use of mr. H hands.,..he is not usingn them like that in other films...he often looks at them (he used them for Killing?), he seems unsure of what to to with them during moments of relax, or whenm discuss with Draco and the priest, he offers them to Browyn their first night, like offering himself ...hands are symbols of his uncertainty? of his weakness?

That's a very interesting question. One thing can be said from the anthropological study of gesture: different races and communities use their hands in certain gestures to suggest many things. So it may be something like that for the 11th century Anglo-Normans. On another level, hands may be symbolic of both power and vulnerability, possession and sacrifice.

Can you please move the discussion to the 'War Lord' thread itself? I couldn't understand what the topic is about at first sight, until I clicked on it and read it fully. That may be a hindrance to other members as well. But it's only a suggestion.
