I'm terribly sorry, my initial question actually was regarding the Forbidden Planet Blu-ray, when I answered your post today I thought I had asked about the Earthquake Blu-ray.

28 years old and my memory is already fading :banghead:

Well... this may not be from a great movie, but I see no point of creating another thread for 'Publicity stills of less-known movies'. So I think I may put this still from THE SAVAGE here. I find this still interesting because it captures an ambiguous moment of Chuck's expression.

Movie and publicity stills don't have to be from what members think are "great" movies. It is the pictures themselves that is meant to be great.

SECRET OF THE INCAS Photo Spread, Part 2 > call me crazy, but thought I'd try a new set of stills from the Incas film.

You won't find these elsewhere on the internet; these are exclusive to the Charlton Heston Forums; as Elena might say...

I was prompted by the fact that there didn't seem to be any high quality stills available for the Incas film on the net - not at the level of his more famous, big films. At least, I wasn't able to find any last time I checked around. This coincides with the lack of an official DVD release (though I know there's been talk recently of a Spanish DVD release). As I mentioned on some other thread, I recently became an Amazon Prime member; for an annual fee, I now have access to thousands of films I can watch anytime I want on my computer. These include some films which still don't have a DVD release, including a few Heston films - including Secret of the Incas. When I watched the Incas film the other day, I noted that the picture quality was pretty good - compared to what I was used to. I took a few screen shots with my digital camera as an experiment, not expecting much; some of the pictures turned out better than I thought they would; so, I figured may as well post them here - see what others think. :harrysteele:

You are welcome, James - I thought that some of these might grab your interest; I tried to take a few shots of scenes that I do not remember seeing on the net before, i.e. brand new stills that have not existed before. :harrysteele:
