There is a very detailed and wonderful analysis included in the double-layered version of the El Cid DVD, given by Bronston's son and one historian, I don't remember his name. This one is very compact and selective of scenes and issues, as if it analyses the trailer--and yes, a bit 'snarky' at the end.

Very touching indeed.

You know one line that always gets me from this film?

"What a noble subject. If he had only a noble king."

The line always intrigues me for its carrying of the double meaning of 'subject'. A noble subject to a less than noble king, of course, but the Cid has a better way to prove his own worth and dignity in the sense that he is an individual 'subject', loyal to his subjectivity, his goodwill, strength, morality and sense of right and wrong. That is subjecthood or identity for a man which keeps him uncompromising and uncorrupted. And to be a true 'subject' in this sense, he does not need any king on earth, except the Almighty.

Grand thing! I never knew that archive.org stores film bulletins as well. If it is so, may we not find similar bulletins featuring at least other major movies by Chuck?
