Heh - that one reminds me of an old ad in the Planet of the Apes magazines/comics; they placed these ads in their magazine back then, around 1975, to try to get more subscribers; I always thought that this one was funny:

 Loved it! I wonder if we had those in the Swedish Planet of the Apes magazines.

The MOVIE FANFARE site chose a still from BEN-HUR as their latest "Create-a-Caption" challenge - http://www.moviefanfare.com/ben-hur-195 ... picture%3F

This is it here, along with the caption supplied by the blogger. There are also various suggestions there by respondents:

I like these two as well -- "Come on, fellas, row faster... It's Thursday and I don't want to miss "Big Bang Theory" tonight!" and "Are we there yet? Are we there yet? I gotta ---- ;)" !

Another one featuring Heston in 'Alaska'... but I don't properly get the hunour of the caption. Can anybody help? Haven't seen the movie, however.

Much of the plot of Alaska revolves around Heston as a poacher who is after a polar bear. It's been a few years since I've watched the film, so maybe I'm missing something too, but I guess the caption refers to the relentless nature of Heston's character as he pursues his goal of capturing or killing the bear. I don't understand the purpose of the word "BEAR!!" written a 2nd time underneath in smaller print - maybe that's just an error. Unless... [edit] just thought of this afterwards - it has something to do with "to BEAR Arms." :?:

Thanks knight. If that is so, the captioner must have been too witty.

Ye friends, just look at this one. I hope all of you get the humour behind it.

The link shows a picture too big, so I am posting a small version of it.

I wish I thought of this one - it seems easy now, considering the recent posts here about Nick Fury and The Avengers (in the Saloon section). As discussed before, Heston would've made a good Nick Fury back in the seventies...
