No Thorn - but I have Spanish friends at work who could translate it for me. Wonder why it hasn't been published in English?

I reckon there may be enough ones on Heston that they may not want to comission a translation unless it's something truly special.

I bought a very cheap copy of this book on the net, and it turns out to be the Spanish edition of IN THE ARENA.

That's cool, that it was translater into Spanish. I don't think Sweden ever got a translated version.

It doesn't look as good as IN THE ARENA, Thorn. The Spanish version is just called "Memories" and has a still of Heston from the tv series CHIEFS.

IN THE ARENA sounds much more exciting, doesn't it, and has Chuck as BEN-HUR on the cover.

I collect books on John Wayne as well as Heston, and after reading this latest book on Duke, http://www.amazon.com/American-Titan-Se ... B00ICMSBV8, I contacted the author Marc Elliot and congratulated him on an excellent read. Marc thanked me, and also told me that he is in the process of writing a book on Charlton Heston (assisted by Fraser Heston) and that it will be available to purchase early next year.

Isn't that good news, Chuck fans?

Pardon my French, but holy crap! That sounds awesome! We'll definitely get a good read out of that one. Wish Fraser could write his own book about growing up with one of Hollywood's giants as his father, but this will do!

Thought Marc Elliot sounded familiar and sure enough, I've seen some of his books when searching for biographies of certain actors. He's written quite a few of them!

Marc Elliot doesn't hold back in the book on Wayne either, Thorn, so the Heston biography should be really interesting.

Let's hope Marc Elliot sticks to the facts, not like the ridiculous Darwin Porter monstrosity http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1936003120/r ... _dp_review

I think Fraser's inputs will help the author, and there will be no improper stuff in the outcome.
