When ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA was shown on BBC television in the early 1980's my wife got hold of the remote control and immediately switched over to ITV for some game show or something.
She bellowed, "If you think me and the kids are watching that Shakespeare crap on a Saturday night, you've got another thing coming, Buster!"

There's truly something universal about wives and the remote control.

No wonder I divorced her - turning off a Heston movie!

 My wife isn't a huge fan either, but I haven't caught her doing that, yet.

Be careful when you make such comments, Thornie... do you mean that Esther and Chimene were out of the universe? Of course, there was no remote control, then...

My ex-wife liked most of Heston's movies but she couldn't abide Shakespeare .... with or without Heston in them.
